It’s not often that I write reviews, however this place deserves it! I recently moved to DTSP and am new to the Kava scene. Ever since my first visit here, it has been nothing but pleasant. Service is great, the staff is very kind and cares about its customers. The atmosphere is very laid back, and people who come here are very friendly! My boyfriend and I are here nearly every night, and we have never had an issue with staff or customers. The kava and teas are high quality and consistent. If you’re looking for a nice place to wind down, work, socialize, etc, it’s here! They also have daily specials/events that are amazing! Ozzy is the best trivia host!

Driftwood Coffee is an absolute gem! Whether you're looking for a great cup of coffee or a comfortable spot to get some work done, this place delivers on all fronts. Relaxed atmosphere making it easy to settle in and stay a while. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, but special shoutout to Ozzy who works nights — his friendliness and positive energy alone are worth the visit. If you haven't been to Driftwood Coffee yet, you're missing out. Highest possible recommendation!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place absolutely deserves it. I come here every single day, and it has honestly become one of my favorite parts of my routine. The atmosphere is always welcoming, relaxed, and just the right balance of chill and social. Whether I’m stopping in to focus, unwind, or just reset for a bit, it never disappoints. What really sets this coffee and kava bar apart is the staff. Every single person I’ve interacted with has been kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. You can tell they care—not just about the drinks, but about the people who walk through the door. That kind of consistency is rare. The drinks are always on point, and you can tell there’s intention behind what they serve. It’s not just about caffeine or kava—it’s about the experience. And Friday trivia? Easily one of the highlights of the week. It’s a great way to bring people together, have some fun, and build a sense of community that you don’t find in most places. Great matcha and sandwiches. The atmosphere is also very chill and comfortable for getting work done. Clean and spacious bathrooms as well. Service was fast and beverage options extensive. Wish they had more food options as I’ve only seen 3. Would love to visit again next time I’m in St. Pete.
